Yesterday, the modem for our landline stopped working. I unplugged it, lifted it and water started running on my arm. Our water cooler was leaking water into the modem. (The modem is in the basement and the water cooler is above in the kitchen.) We let it dry for a few hours, plugged it in and it didn't work. We called our provider, gave our info, then they said they detected the modem. The green lights were on. The modem was working again. I'm glad we didn't have to get a technician to replace the modem. We put a Ziploc on top of the modem to protect it until we find where the water is coming from.
