On Monday, we had a plumber install a pump in the old well. Today, me and my dad went to the site to test the well. We brought a generator and left the pump running for an hour and a half. The water started at 12'. 5 min : 15' 18 min : 16' 35 min : 16'8" After 40 minutes, the water dropped to 16'8" and stopped going down. Then, the water went up! I can't explain that. My dad is going to ask a plumber if that is OK. In the end, after 90 minutes, the level rose to 15'8". Then we stopped the pump. We also filled three bottles for testing the water quality. The water was slightly dirty at first (the well has not been used in 40 years), but it quickly went clear. The water looks really good.
