When they were pouring the foundation of our future home, they almost lost a shovel in the concrete. The guy was on top, threw his shovel into the concrete form, started talking to someone else and forgot about it while it was sinking. His boss made him notice and he picked up the shovel before it disappeared into the concrete. I wonder how many shovels there are in the various foundations of other houses.
