I just did a small electronic project. I took the ringer from my grandmother's old 500 phone and put it in the gutted out antique phone on the garden floor. The doorbells ring the four antique phones in the house. We got that phone from our neighbour, kind of sad that they gutted it to hide a modern phone in it. The ringer was also broken, no continuity. So I put this ringer inside. It works great.
