If it was up to me, autism wouldn't even be a condition. But now it is entrenched, unremovable. All I can do is work with it. Similar to how people have changed the meaning of terms that were used to insult them into something to bring them together, I want "autism" to become a positive thing. Drop the "disorder" part. We can't be wired the same or be different only in "allowed" ways. "Oh, this difference is normal, but this one is not. They should feel ashamed for being targeted by us. Those are people to be sorry for."
