Today, me and my dad spent two hours installing the five outlets and waterproof covers for my outdoor outlet project. I had to shorten the wires to get the outlet to fit in the box. The top outlet is on the red wire and the bottom on the black. The red one is connected to my timer in the large shed. By my calculations, I should be able to plug in ~256 7W christmas bulbs on the 15A circuit. (I have a double-pole breaker in the panel that feeds the 12/3 cable)
