A bit too late for me to say this, but there can be a few ways to explain the end of the last Doctor Who episode. Either : - She is the Doctor - She's not the Doctor, who is somewhere else - We can just forget it, pretend it never happened and start in a different direction When the series was revived in 2005, we never saw the regeneration. The Doctor just showed up. I thought of this long ago, but I know people will assume I got this from the cultbox and Guardian articles. I only ever said it to my parents. https://cultbox.co.uk/news/russell-t-davies-doctor-who-2026-christmas-special-commission-decommission-timeline https://www.theguardian.com/media/2026/oct/03/russell-t-davies-memoir-the-queerest-of-folk-extract
